APAC Regional Talent Management & People Analytics Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:
The APAC Talent Management & People Analytics Manager ensures the right people are in the right roles and builds a strong talent pipeline for future growth. Working closely with the APAC Talent Management Director and Cluster Talent Managers, this role leads high-impact, visible projects that drive innovative talent strategies and regional success. The role will lead and coordinating some regional talent initiatives by aligning with Global Center of Expertise (COE) and Cluster inputs to define regional priorities and drive effective talent development initiatives and programs through data-driven insights.
The role also develops and deploys integrated People Analytics to facilitate decision-making by preparing and delivering analysis and recommendations to APAC leadership, regional HR leadership, and business stakeholders to influence people and talent outcomes as well as provide coaching support to the Regional HR community in data-driven practices and champions the adoption of analytics tools to support continuous improvement and learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Management:
- Leadership Development: Lead the rollout of regional flagship programmes and initiatives, ensuring an exceptional participant experience and high-quality delivery. Continually review and upgrade these programs to ensure business needs and relevance. Ensure strong understanding of global programs and promote them in the region to maximize participation of the right talents.
- Community Management & Competency Development: Conduct competency analysis and action planning to support development initiatives for key communities and functions to enhance regional autonomy. Coordinate at region level for Project Management certifications (IPMA) & Worl Class Engineering & Manufacturing Expert programs
- Employee Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for Employee Engagement between the global team and cluster HR communities, acting as the regional expert for the end-to-end engagement process. Conduct in-depth analyses to empower informed decision-making and identify actionable plans. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, communicate, and track region-wide action plans, ensuring progress is shared throughout the year.
- Talent Pool Monitoring: Monitor career growth and progression for talent pools and prepare and present career path analyses to the regional Leadership team to support long-term career visibility and retention.
People Analytics
- Metrics & Dashboards: Design lean, meaningful dashboards and report monthly to track critical people metrics and Alstom People Strategy KPIs.
- Insight Storytelling: Generate analytics from internal/external data and turn them into compelling visual narratives that drive decisions. Coordinate with Cluster TM networks on People Analytics for Talent Reviews, Employee Engagement, Competency mapping, Attrition etc
- Data Enablement: Coach HR on interpreting metrics, foster a data mindset, and train teams on self‑service tools (e.g., QlikSense).
- Data Governance & Continuous Improvement: Partner with HR Process & Tool teams to strengthen data quality and governance. Evolve the people analytics strategy in line with best practices and emerging trends.

EXPERIENCE
- Proven Track Record with 5 to 8 years of experience in Talent Management, HR related roles within a regional or matrixed organisation in a Multinational Company or Corporate Consulting organisation
- 2 to 3 years’ experience working with People Analytics and hands on experience in identifying, proposing and conducting analytics from scratch.
- Proven experience coordinating cluster wide, regional initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to change initiatives or new Talent frameworks is an advantage
EDUCATION
- Graduate Degree Level with a specialization in Human Resources, Statistics, Business, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant HR/Talent certifications are an advantage
