We are currently looking for a RAMS/LCC Engineer (f/m/d) for our location in Siegen, Germany
As a RAMS/LCC Engineer (f/m/d) you will provide evaluations and analyses with regards to safety, reliability and maintainability as well as low Life Cycle Costs (LCC) for the development of bogies in close collaboration with the engineering team.
Main Tasks:
- Prepare safety analyses (e.g. FMECA) as well as LCC- and reliability analyses to support decisions during platform, bid and project development
- Provide safety evidence documentation for homologation of the bogies
- Interface to suppliers to ensure the development of safe and economic solutions with regards to Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety (RAMS) and LCC
- Interface to customers to provide field experience and feedback into design solutions
- Close cooperation with project engineers, system engineers and engineering departments to achieve safe and economic design solutions
- Evaluation of implications of technical solutions to safety and economic aspects of the design
- Continuous development of expert knowledge with regards to RAMS/LCC and corresponding tools, and provide internal trainings as necessary
- Analysis of innovative ideas and supervision of research studies that keep our products competitive
Competencies & Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience in RAMS/LCC analysis beneficial
- Business fluent in English and German; French language skills beneficial
- Sense for coordination, good communication skills and team spirit
- Readiness to travel occasionally
