Could you be the full-time Project Configuration and Change Manager (f/m/d) in Siegen we’re looking for? As Project Configuration and Change Manager (f/m/d) for new-development-projects you will be part of our international Project Core Teams across several sites and work closely with our internal customers, suppliers and functions, to manage and control Configuration and Change Management (CCM) activities for Bogies to ensure to deliver our Bogies Sub-system OnTime, Right Quality and Economical Costs to almost all regions of the world.

 

 

Your Future Role

Our Siegen site is an international competence center for bogies. 800 colleagues develop, manufacture, test, and repair bogies for global rail traffic, ensuring stability and comfort on the tracks. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Ildiko ZORGEL and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

 

We’ll look for you to:

  • Keep the project/program configuration under control and manage changes during the production period of the Project or Program.
  • Applies CCM procedures, instructions, templates etc. and ensures that project/ program team members are trained and apply them.
  • Applies the Configuration and Change Management Plan (CMP) of the Project/ Program and ensures the involved roles of the manufacturing site follow them.
  • Reports and escalates any CCM manufacturing issues to the Project/Program Configuration and Change Manager.
  • Reports on CCM Performance Indicators.
  • Provides necessary evidence for the Development for Quality (DfQ) Gates execution for CCM deliverables to the Project Configuration and Change Manager(PrCCM).
  • Monitors the recording of As-Built Configuration and Traceability data per produced unit, the implementation of modifications as per implementation plan and ensures they are all timely updated in the data management system.
  • Ensures the "end-to-end" traceability of every approved change request through the monitoring of the associated activities and their closure.

  • Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical or electronics).
  • Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical or industrial).
  • From Bachelor’s degree to Graduate of University degree in any of Engineering or Industrial or equivalent desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of Configuration and Change Management.
  • Work experience in production, supply chain or project management in industrial environment.
  • Team player with spirit and ability to work across sites/functions in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Structured way of working, process oriented; strong multi-tasking and conflict management capacities aligned with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication- and moderation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and to participate in permanent education.
  • Fluent in German and English language (in writing and verbally), French not essential but beneficial.
