What are my responsibilities?

The Support System Engineer is responsible for technical training and assistance to Casco on project specification and architect definition of Qiji train-to-train system new development. The position is based in Shanghai (China) for two years

  • Based in Casco premises in Shanghai, the main responsibility is to support Casco system development engineers in charge of Qiji development
  • Develop Casco knowledge on system development engineering process applied to train-to-train signaling system based on Alstom Fluence system model. Deliver support on documentation and training contents delivered by Alstom in the frame of JDA
  • Support Casco system development engineer to perform their duties for new Qiji development


What do I need to qualify for this job?

Graduated from Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent


Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in system signaling
  • Knowledge of Fluence system
  • Experience in Fluence system development.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Model Based System Engineering
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French and/or Chinese would be an advantage
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment linked to the Joint Venture context
  • Leadership, strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to share knowledge, ability to train on new system development approach/method
  • Problem solving skills: logical and analytical approach, with a creative mind, capable of synthesizing issues and guide for decision making
  • Rigorous, autonomous, result-oriented
  • Able to work under pressure and manage issues with priority
