PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Designs traction inverter, auxiliary converter, high voltage box and other train electrical architecture, cubical layout and wiring rooting
  • Specifies electrical apparatus to be used on project you are affected according to PPL (Preferred Parts List) and Project requirements
  • Produces PPS (Pure Principle Scheme) and project apparatus specification

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES 

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

  • Quality of their delivery (including sub-contractor delivery):
    • 1st time quality rate > 90%
      Quality rate = Modification validated OK / number of modifications applied
  • Respect of the delivery planning (including sub-contractor delivery):
    • 100% on time delivery
  • Level of application of standard PPL (Preferred Parts List):
    • Prioritize the use of PPL (Preferred Parts List) products to achieve 100%.
    • For components that do not have PPL (Preferred Parts List) recommendations, suitable products can be selected based on requirements.
  • Continuous improvement and RoE (Return on Experience) management from previous projects:
    • 0 missing RoE (Return on Experience)

 

Responsible for:

Delivering the right product at the right moment to the project, the product consisting into the complete electrical case or a set of electrical deliverables for each baseline made of:

  • Managing the Schematics & Apparatus, Quality - Cost - Delay of their activities, sub-contracting management (inputs / outputs management)
    • Quality: Refers to the standard or specification that must be met for products, components, or processes.
    • Cost: Involves the financial aspects, including budgeting, expenditure, and cost control.
    • Delay: Relates to the time management aspect, ensuring that deliveries are completed within the required deadlines or schedules.
  • Apparatus specification
  • Connector coding specification
  • Cubical specification
  • PPS (Pure Principle Scheme), SPS (Solution Principle Scheme), CPS (Cable Principle Scheme)
  • Routing solution review with mechanical team
  • Cable Wiring list,
  • Harness case & calculation
  • electrical architecture at train level
  • Managing the configuration of their deliverables
  • Gap review analyzes

    MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

    Educational Requirements

    • Mandatory:
      • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, etc.).
      • Candidates with extensive experience may have certain requirements relaxed.

    Experience

    • Mandatory:
      • Relevant industry work experience, typically 2-5 years of relevant experience.
      • 2 years of experience in electrical design software (such as EPLAN, SEE ONE, AutoCAD Electrical etc.)
    • Desirable:
      • Electrical Engineer License
      • Familiar with using Zuken E3s
      • Roling stock background

    • Proficient in Chinese, with a good command of English and no communication barriers; proficiency in French is an added advantage.

    • Electrical CAD (E3s or SEE One)
