Responsibilities:

  • To make product design (3D/2D) including single part/assembly with CATIA V5/DMA-GS in compliance with projects & customer requirements.
  • To ensure all drawings are in line with Alstom design rules and passed Q-checker requirements.
  • Deliver project EBOM package (including drawings, DTR parts) to project team for industrialization and purchasing.
  • FEA calculation.
  • Active member of new mechanical development (R&D)
  • Actively support Project Engineering Manager for product mechanical interface and technical queries during Design Meeting. 
  • Manage Mechanical design issues from supplier’s side, project, or industrial team to ensure good production.
  • Be leader and provide proposals for problem solving and product improvement.
  • Ensure product improvement is deployed to all projects.

 

Performance Measurement:

  • 100% compliance to EHS and E&C policies
  • QCD commitments achievement (1st time quality rate >90%, On time delivery = 100% …)
  • Closure of open points, configuration management of deliverables …
  • Guaranty the application of EHS rules, Comply to EHS policy and AZDP

 

Educational Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor degree or above in mechanical design or related engineering field.

 

Experiences:

  • Design software experience of CATIA V5 (or related CAD software).
  • Familiar with sheet metal design/ process.
  • Railway Experience required. Traction System knowledge preferred.

 

Competencies & Skills:

  • Good communication, accountable, self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Fluent Spoken and Written English.
  • Good knowledge of office software.
  • Proficient in CAD Software CATIA V5.
  • FEA software (Hyperworks) preferred.
