PURPOSE OF THE JOB
|
- The AIC LC contributes to manage the supply chain flow by Being the SC key contact for ATSA manufacturing site (site MP)
- Check supplier production capacity for anticipation.
- Identify root cause of non-compliancy of supplier commitment, set action plan, and follow PDCA to insure on time delivery.
- Chasing and support the supplier on SC topics in order to help him to gain in autonomy, reliability and effectiveness.
- Design, develop and put in place solutions to improve end-to-end logistic flows (regarding material flow, storage, packaging, warehousing, transportation).
- Control completeness and quality of logistics and transportation services delivered
- Ensure the Supplier ability in delivery performance to meet Alstom needs in required time and quantity
- Animate Supplier's delivery performances & risk management.
- Conduct the Capacity and the SC Capability audits for Suppliers.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
|
|
Planning / Expediting:
- To follow supplier physical delivery according to site production requirement.
- To manage the supplier non-compliancy in term of deliveries, fully understand industrial constraint; identify the root cause of non-compliancy (delay, missing parts...). Check the supplier production reliability, understand production planning, and check supplier missing parts list with them (SAP will be a plus).
- To build action plan in case of delivery risk, build preventive action plan for potential delivery risk.
- To support and insure supplier make delivery confirmation, ASN (delivery note) input in ARIBA system.
- To report on OTIF for his suppliers panel.
Logistics Engineering:
- Participate in the decision of sourcing department on logistic aspects (Incoterms, Firm Period, etc.) before Business award. Manage supplier to respect the logistic specification.
- Apply solutions to protect parts during all logistic operations (transport, unloading, storage, line feeding, …).
- Design packaging solutions (calculate batch size, optimize packaging costs and quality, …).
- Contribute to the implementation of Environment Health Safety (EHS) requirements for logistics: packaging solutions / warehouse process optimization.
Transportation:
- To be the key interface with the freight forwarder concerning shipments and potential SC issues (documentation, blockages…)
- Provide visibility on transportation status to all stakeholders
- Supervise Transportation operational activities & process application; monior 3PL operational performance
- Ensure customs compliance within the scope of responsibility.
- Handle issues (day to day, recurrent) and drive continuous amelioration plan on operational scope
- Drive consistency in process mapping, systems & data across Sites
- Support deployment of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and Transportation Routing guides across Sites; monitor compliance with established Routings
- Drive cost reduction, optimize container consolidation ratio, and reduce air deliveries.
Supplier Delivery Performance Management (SDPM):
- Animate Supplier Delivery Performance
- Monitor and eliminate non-OTIF impact (late and early deliveries) in close collaboration with Material Planning
- Lead and create the OTIF improvement plan in collaboration with Material Planning
- Contribute to Supplier delivery risks assessment & management
- Manage delivery crisis (mono-Site and multi-Sites when leading)
- Evaluate ad-hoc Supplier Capacity and Supply Chain Capability
- Ensure Material Planner SDPM skills development (training/coaching)
Take other proper tasks assigned by company or line manager

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Educational Requirements
|
|
Mandatory:
- University degree in international transport or supply chain field
|
Desirable:
- Knowledge of modern principles for efficient transportation management, and distribution control
|
|
Experience
|
|
Mandatory:
- 3-5 years working experience in relevant field
- Fluent in English
|
Desirable:
- Experience on Lean Management projects, production, industrialization.
- SAP knowledge
- German language
- French language
