In the assigned Non-consolidated JVs in China:

• Ensure well deployment of Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES 

Accountability & Authorities

• Work with China Non-consolidated JV Team to manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant project (IQ team + process + KPI).
• Ensure the correct application of Quality Control Plan, work instruction, inspection and test plan during manufacturing process in China Non-consolidated JVs, checking that the activities have been planned and performed in compliance with the defined requirements and processes.
• Ensure the correct application of special process and in compliance with requirements
• Work with China Non-consolidated JV manufacturing teams regarding the workstation audit, self-inspection, OIL & NC issues closure, perform, participate to hold points inspections of products, pre-delivery inspection of cars (Customer joint inspections included if applicable).
• Records inspection results as required & performed follow-up, accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support.
• Stop activities when a process is not capable in order to protect Customer
• Work with China Non-consolidated JV Team to ensure implementation and regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX for avoiding recurrent issues on next manufacturing.

Performance measurements

• Alstom Industrial Quality KPIs applicable, including but not limited to DPU, NCR, CONQ, DFQ, 8D….

Job Location / Mobility:

Based in QING DAO (non-consolidated JVs).

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements Describe the minimum educational requirement/level

Mandatory:

• B.A degree in Materials or Mechanical or Electrical or Electromechanical or equivalent;
• Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
• Must be able to project quality plan and quality requirements.
• Must be able to understand technical documentation of the scope
• Competency to use computer applications

Desirable:

• B.A Degree on Welding engineering or equivalent
• Familiar with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.)

Experience Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role

Mandatory:

• Min 5 years’ experience within manufacturing industry or in a Quality role or in a Project role
• Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
• Quality professional background with knowledge of quality tools (PFMEA, control plan, QRQC, 8D, Quality Wall, etc.).

Desirable:

• Experience in Special Process is a plus;
• Project management or equivalent.
• Experience in rolling stock manufacturing Quality Management.
