Purpose of the Job: 

  • Be accountable for a portfolio of signaling projects with focus on strategic transformation programs in line with contractual requirements and customer expectations to maximize the results with respect to cash and margin whilst delivering on time, in conformity with Alstom project management and execution processes
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through quality & timely delivery of all contractual deliverables committed.

 

 Main Responsiblities: 

1/ Be accountable for signaling projects QCDP performance and optimize project financial performance (margin & cash)

2/ Be responsible for the project governance, define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including objectives allocation regarding planning, cost, quality, performance, etc.

3/ Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out including:

  • Team leading, including Core Team and Project Managers of external partners to make sure that key project stakeholders are aligned towards project/ goals.
  • Engage project teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and strengthen relationships among them
  • Alignment with contractual requirements and management of variation orders. Arbitration of Q, C, D, P re-baselining and change management at project level. Manage claim and litigations if needed
  • Proactive risk, saving and opportunity management
  • Management of project progress and its KPIs, and reports to senior management, with transparency during the business/critical project review as representative of the projects towards Alstom management.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards: Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, Project Management Manual

4/ Manage customer, partners and external stakeholders’ relationship

5/ Manage strategic roadmap discussions to ensure alignments between Alstom and its partners

  • Gate review Go on time / OTD- GR
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • ToT milestones achievements

 

Educational Requirements: master degree

 

Experience Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • 5 year experience as project manager in railway industry of which at least 2 year experience of medium critical projects
  • Experience of working in and with multi-national companies and in different business cultures

Desirable:

  • Knowledgeable of ALSTOM way of working for efficient process execution
  • Knowledge about signaling
  • Participation to strategic initiatives or workshops
