Purpose of the Job

The Industrialization Technician is responsible for defining, developing and implementing industrial tools and testing solutions for electronic products at project level.
The role ensures that tooling and industrial means are compliant with engineering requirements, standards and business targets (EHS, Ergonomics, Quality, Cost and Delivery), while guaranteeing availability, safety, cost control and lifecycle management throughout industrialization and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify tooling needs and evaluate related costs.
  • Analyze tooling requests and define suitable technical solutions.
  • Specify requirements for industrial tools, infrastructure and CAPEX.
  • Design tooling or manage subcontracted activities.
  • Manage purchase requests, RFQs and support supplier selection.
  • Validate tooling design and operational readiness (FAI).
  • Support tooling implementation and ensure availability, safety and timing.
  • Define operating procedures, inspection, maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Manage tooling lifecycle costs and CAPEX ROI when required.

Requirements

  • Technical background in Electronics or Automation.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Experience in production or service environments, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Solid knowledge of Process and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Proficiency with LabVIEW, C++ and schematic drawings.
  • Knowledge of Quality, EHS and Ergonomics standards.
  • Structured, proactive and delivery-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
