Could you be the full-time EHS Site Manager in Savli we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your environmental, health, and safety (EHS) expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a proactive and collaborative team of professionals.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors while minimizing environmental impacts and safeguarding Alstom’s assets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with site management, EHS engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams, driving the implementation of EHS policies, supporting operational management, and ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.

You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining the site’s EHS management system, but also lead initiatives to foster a strong EHS culture and continuous improvement.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting site management in achieving EHS performance goals

  • Driving the implementation of EHS policies and improvement plans

  • Conducting EHS risk assessments and implementing control measures

  • Preparing and maintaining emergency plans at the site level

  • Ensuring subcontractor activities meet EHS standards

  • Leading and developing the EHS team at the site

  • Developing and deploying local EHS procedures and tools

  • Monitoring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Fostering a strong EHS culture and facilitating continuous improvement

  • Conducting EHS training and communication initiatives

  • Reporting, analyzing, and reviewing EHS performance data

  • Leading internal EHS audits and inspections

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Health & Safety qualification recognized by local authorities

  • Environmental qualification (Diploma or Degree level) is desirable

  • Proven experience or understanding of EHS risk assessment and management

  • Knowledge of EHS management systems and statutory compliance

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills

  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities

  • Analytical thinking and a rigorous mindset

  • Proficiency in computer skills

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools
