Job Title: System Engineer
The candidate, as a part of the System train team, is responsible for a complete system like: HVAC, external and internal doors, antifire and etc.
She/he will be in charge of integration and validation of the system in the train.
She/he will manage some R&D Work packages, propose and drive Sustaining Plan (Second Source, Management of Obsolescence, Redesign to Cost, New development), collect and formalize return of experience related on solution.
She/he will be responsible for managing system requirements and development with supplier and customer (Internal and external Units) during all phases of the project.
Responsibilities
Manages project requirements and system development with suppliers and customers during all phases of the project
Prepares Design Review with suppliers (system/product level) or with Train System Engineer (train/product integration level)
Ensures the quality of the deliverables
Manages the technical System Project Single List Issues/Risk Analysis Mitigation Plan
Ensures that standard key design rules are applied with Platform and Sourcing colleagues
Ensures that the specific tools are well applied
Supports the sites if requested on critical technical issues for actual and past projects
Reports the progress of the project (meetings, weekly/regular report)
She/he is in charge of managing its work package and budget
Support the foreign sites for relations with national customers
Educational Requirements and skills
Mechanical or Energy Engineer degree
Experience on design of 5 years, in railway vehicles or automotive domain is preferred
Good communication skills, pro-activity, team working, strategic vision
English conversational/writing/reading fluent mandatory
