As a Project Supply Chain Leader you will be in charge of coordinating Supply Chain activities for your project, from Tender to project end, and representing the Supply Chain function within the Project Core Team.

 

Purpose of the Job

To plan all interfaces with suppliers in order to achieve on time order placing and JQS milestones in codesign and on time delivery during ramp up phase.

Will act as WPO on material WP during serial phase

Key Network & Links

Interface to all functions involved on the Projects, to Commodity managers / Buyers and to Suppliers

Part of the core Project team

Interface to Material planners during serial phase to achieve WP QCD commitment

Take active part to the PPL network, specially to PPLs working on same project

 

Responsibilities

  • Is assigned on a scope depending of project size (several small projects, 1 entire project, or some subsystems)
  • Coordinates all internal and external actors of the project to ensure on time placing of the orders :
  • Organize the interfaces between Souring and Project Plateau (design, codesign, modification proposals, …)
  • Identifies critical sourcing path based on standard lead times
  • Validates Project planning for Sourcing activities
  • Checks all specifications are available prior to negotiation (technical, quality, logistics, costs)
  • Support negotiations for logistics aspects
  • Follow up planning with potential suppliers during co design phase
  • Evaluate impact/risk of modifications on planning
  • Escalade alerts if milestones not met on time
  • Check completeness of order prior to order entry into the system
  • Participates to FAI and Gate reviews
  • Identifies suppliers requiring capacity check and improvement plans : launch actions with material planners
  • Ensures that all project contacts with supply markets are channelled through sourcing or that sourcing is kept informed in case of minor contacts
  • Interface with Production Planning to validate MPS feasibility based on procurement plans
  • Overlooks that clerical tasks for order creation and entry are done on time
  • If needed initiate “noria” actions
  • Coordination with buyers to launch additional / replacement orders
  • Escalade alerts in case of major issues with suppliers during serial phase requiring support of Commodities to Procurement
  • Support the WP reporting process

 

Your profile :

 

  • Preferred Graduated from Higher Education in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Experience with ERPs, Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement,
  • Italian mother tongue
  • English.
  • Office package
  • Experience of work in a supplier/customer relationship or Project or Industrial  
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods of time
  • Desirable: Knowledgeable of ERP material management (master data, purchase orders management…) or ERP architecture understanding (BOM, NCR…) or ability to use ERP
