Methods & Tools Industrial Quality Engineer
The candidate will be part of Industrial Quality team and will report to the Industrial Quality Manager.
Purpose of the job:
Design & Digitalize Industrial Quality Standards to support External Demerit at ZERO for Customer and improve Industrial Quality Performance with DpU (Defect per Unit), especially for Special Processes.
Accountabilities & Authorities:
- Manage Industrial Quality Methods & Tools activities: People if applicable, Process & Performance
- Develop and deploy processes, tools & quality standards (e.g. Quality Control Plan) with industrial teams
- Ensure Detection improvement. Thanks to innovation implementation linked to digital tools
- Develop Standard Quality Board
- Manage Quality activities related to digital tools (Quality Key User): GSI (Global Single Instance) & AOS (Advanced Operation System)
- Deliver Industrial Quality Standard Trainings
- Manage activity related to car history book (Traceability, configuration, …)
- Define Workstation audits planning, adherence & Build Improvement Plan at site level based on REX
- Accountable for MMD (Monitoring & Measuring Device) & Material testing activities (if applicable) according to QUA-PRO-006
- Manage APSYS improvement plan for Industrial Quality requirements (Q09 to Q13 items)
Performance measurements
- Quality documentation deployed at the pre-series / serial start stage
- Metrology activity: Zero tools of control / manufacture in delay of control
- Workstation Audit : Planning accuracy & Non-Conformity occurrence reduction
- Dashboard deployed and up to date
- APSYS measurement for the Industrial Quality Road Map
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent for Engineer
- Associate degree for Technician (ex. equivalent of BTS in France – 2 years technical degree after high school)
- Must be able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment
- Special Process Qualification minimum at Level 1 according to Quality Academy criteria’s
- Experience in managing Quality tools (Problem solving, Lean Six Sigma, …)
- Advocate & leverage digital capabilities
Desirable:
- Railway experience is a “plus”
Experience
Mandatory:
- Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level
- Emerging management experience
Desirable:
- 5 years experiences in Industrial
- Project management or equivalent
- Quality auditor
Competencies & Skills - (Technical & Behavioral)
- Ability to work in a matrix organization Rigor & communication
- Technical mastering of railway products
- International mindset & Fluent in English (For PIQ Manager / Leader)
- Knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, …) and Quality tools.
