JOB TITLE: LOGIST SUPPORT ANALYSIS (LSA) ENGINEER
Purpose of the Job
He / she conducts Logistic Support Analyses and studies within ISR work-packages of new build projects, managing LSA activities of one or more projects.
He / she is an interlocutor of other ISR and Engineering functions (Technical Documentation, RAMS, Design Engineering, System architect, etc.…) pursuing the objective of capturing all information that can influence the maintenance strategy.
He / she shall influence the Design for integration of the maintainability constraints (DfS: Design for Serviceability), including the requirements for Predictive Maintenance (PHM: Prognostics & Health Management), and shall take care of all the aspects to support the Services Readiness in the design of the Equipment.
Organisation Reporting
Job will be based in ISR Italy, at Savigliano plant, or at Customer's site (where the fleet maintenance is performed), or at Project's plateau.
Reports directly to: ISR LSA Manager Italy / Project's LSA Manager
Key accountabilities:
- Manages the implementation of the LSA process in order to conduct LSA studies and provide contractual LSA deliverables on projects
- Manages the development and synthesis of customer requirements in compliance with applicable reference libraries
- Develops and implements the LSA management plan for the project(s) of involvement
- Executes the LSA studies and provide LSA deliverables along the life of the project phase with respect to the LSA management Plan
- Monitors Planning, cost and quality of the LSA content in line with the LSA management Plan and provides corresponding reporting to new build projects, LSA domain lead and local ISR management
- Coordinates with other Métier or Function teams within new build projects for the implementation of the LSA process and smooth interface management
- Validates Service commitments from suppliers in Sourcing conducted Business Awards
- Ensures continuous challenging of supplier commitments (deliverables, costs, LCC performance commitments, planning, maintainability demonstration and associated report) during project execution with escalation to sourcing/commodity managers where necessary
- Ensure coordination/consolidation of contributions from key stake holders (External supplier, ISR representatives in Participating Units/Compo sites) towards achievement of the LSA objective with LCC performance focus
- Ensure permanent consistency of the various components of the ISR package (Spare parts consumptions, spare part prices, maintenance documentation etc…) supporting achievement of the LCC performance
- Provide active support to ISR project leads to the preparation and conduct of the ISR Design Reviews and ISR work-package reviews for the LSA part
- Produces LSA KPI dashboard in line with Product Line Services guidelines with a priority focus on LCC
- Ensures the achievement of life cycle cost commitments in compliance with the product selection and project assigned targets using escalation routes as appropriated

Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Engineering Degree or equivalent
Nice to have:
- Knowledge in Rolling stock / D&IS Engineering and Maintenance
- Electrical, Mechanical, RAMS Engineering
- Software Engineering (only in the case of D&IS)
- Master ISR specialization
- Knowledge in Project management
Experience
Strong assets:
- Experience in LSA - Process, Standards & Tools
- Technical knowledge on maintainability aspects
- Minimum 2 year experience (LSA Senior Engineer) 4 year experience (LSA Project Lead Engineer) on engineering roles or engineering WP management on projects (RS, D&IS, System & Infrastructure)
- Direct customer interfacing
- English (working level as a minimum), other languages as applicable
- Working in diverse and international environment
Nice to have:
- Project experience in Rolling stock Maintenance or in Signalling / Infrastructure Maintenance engineering roles
- Experience in Customer interfacing
