Could you be the full-time Train Control Systems Engineer in São Paulo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in train control logics and information systems in an innovative and dynamic environment. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and supportive teammates.
You'll play a key role in designing, integrating, and validating train control systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers, to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. You'll also contribute to the creation of technical documentation and support testing and validation activities.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing system architectures, developing control solutions, and managing design changes, but also ensuring compliance with engineering processes and promoting continuous improvement.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining and implementing functional, performance, and train-level requirements for subsystems

Preparing and delivering engineering documents such as Requirement Specifications, Architecture Descriptions, and Technical Purchase Specifications

Developing low-voltage and software control solutions, including logical diagrams and man-machine interfaces

Managing design changes, performing impact analysis, and maintaining configuration consistency

Providing technical support for train tests, verification, and validation activities in manufacturing plant or customer sites

Collaborating with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers to achieve quality, cost, and delivery objectives

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Experience or understanding of electrical and schematic design activities, preferably in railway

Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, or automation systems (e.g., Programmable Logic Controllers)

Familiarity with IEC61131-3 software development or model-based development tools like Control Build or Codesys

Understanding of network topologies and interfaces for Serial, Ethernet, MVB, and other industrial communication networks (desirable)

Fluency in English; Spanish is desirable

Strong analytical skills and a hands-on engineering approach
