Could you be the full-time Train Validation Manager in São Paulo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in leading and developing the Train Validation team, ensuring the deployment of Alstom Transport methodologies and tools to deliver excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project management, engineering, and tender teams), support the resolution of issues, define priorities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing the workload of the Train Validation team, including sub-contracted support if applicable, and ensuring process conformity, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share Return of Experience between projects.
We’ll look to you for:

Leading the Train Validation team both technically and hierarchically

Supporting the team in issue resolution and priority setting

Ensuring timely execution of the People Management Cycle

Defining and implementing a training plan aligned with team needs and Alstom’s strategy
-
Assigning resources to tender and project activities
-
Approving Train Validation commitments and performance for tenders or projects
-
Contributing to the improvement of central processes by escalating operational topics and use cases
-
Securing process conformity, including EHS alignment with Central Métier

Degree in electrical engineering

At least 10 years’ experience in Train Testing/Validation within engineering

5+ years of experience in team management
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Customer-focused mindset and strong management skills

Structured and organized approach with a hands-on attitude

Fluency in English (Spanish is desirable)
-
Experience with ISO 17025 is advantageous
-
Experience in international working environments and managing critical situations

Familiarity with interface functions
