Specific responsibilities of the role:  

 

  • To develop/deliver the right product at the right moment to the project, the product consisting into the complete electrical case or a set of electrical deliverables for each baseline made of: 

  • Able to create an electrical scheme project starting from scratch or from a reference solution 

  • Able to use wired schematic and apparatus list. 

  • Able to apply wiring and earthing rules. 

  • Able to create and follow a specification  addressed to external supplier (terminal block/push buttons, Switch) 

  • Able to define interfaces and complex wire functions and propose interfaces changes to partners. 

  • Have the capability to manage a complete energy consumption summary on a whole train application. 

  • Able to calculate electrical protection and to define electrical protection strategy on one project. 

  • Knowledge in Apparatus specification and Connector coding specification 

  • Cubical specification 

  • Wiring list, 

  • Harness case, 

  • Applying rules, processes and tools (single-domain) and ensuring Domain deliverables quality and their acceptance by the Customer (internal or external) within committed limits. 

  • Managing production of deliverables in accordance with Planning targets on the Domain assigned zone. 

  • Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews according to project schedule and following-up the main open actions. 

  • Solve Project issues in assigned zone. 

  • Reporting on the Electrical/Mechanical Domain activities progress and alerting relevant N+1 in case of issue potentially impacting achievement of QCD (Quality Cost Deliverables) commitments. 

  • Respecting and/or allocating requirements and interfaces to Sub-Systems/equipment (Allocated volume, weight, location, Preference part list, etc.) 

  • Analyzing change request impacts on assigned zone and applying change if request accepted. 

  • Validating relevant Domain deliverables and securing planning. 

  • Supporting Sourcing, Industrialization and Manufacturing teams during Production ramp-up on manufacturing site (Taubaté/SP) during 1st and 2nd train manufacturing; 

  • Perform quotation of engineering work-package, upon request 

  • Collaborating with continuous improvement of the team (including Return of Experience) 

  

Educational Requirements & Experience 

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 2 to 3 years of experience 

  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer). 

  • Time management and reporting skill. 

  • Sense of urgency / priority. 

  • Structured and organised with Hands-on approach 

  • English advanced in read/writing and technical meetings. 

Mandatories 

  • E3s software advanced level 

  • MS office advanced level 

  • PLM knowledge 

  • Fluent/advanced English 

  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills 

  • Conflict Management and multitasking 

  • Customer Focus / Management skills 

  • Structured and organised with Hand-on approach

  • Worked on railway companies 

  • ELSA software
