Could you be the Cost Engineer in São Paulo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical and financial expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, strategic, and dedicated teammates.

You'll contribute to the financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our engineering projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Sourcing, Production), develop cost models for product families, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of evaluating technical costs using cost model approaches, but also support our sourcing team during supplier negotiations.

We’ll look to you for:

• Estimating technical costs of parts/systems throughout the product development cycle

• Supporting the engineering team with a design-to-cost approach

• Participating in the creation of target costs

• Assisting the sourcing team with negotiation support through cost breakdowns

• Applying or developing cost analysis methods

• Proposing design or process improvements to reduce costs

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MBA is desirable

• Experience or understanding of cost modelling in Rail, Aerospace, or Automotive Industries

• Knowledge of CAD tools, CATIA is preferred

• Familiarity with storytelling and presentation tools

• Effective communication skills

• Proficiency in Portuguese and English, French is a plus

• Willingness to travel as required
