Could you be the full-time Mechanical Subsystem Engineer in São Paulo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and timeliness of our engineering deliverables, directly impacting the success of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Supplier Development, Quality, and Industrialization teams), manage supplier development compliance with specifications, and provide technical inputs to achieve the best outcomes, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing and validating supplier engineering documentation, but also supporting the implementation and updating of risk mitigation plans.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing supplier development in compliance with specifications and the DFQ process

Providing technical inputs for optimal trade-off definition

Promoting the use of existing catalog solutions

Developing requirements and defining component specifications
-
Performing product FMECA where necessary
-
Validating supplier engineering documentation and integrating it into the project baseline

Preparing and analyzing change requests, and applying changes if approved

Providing Return of Experience insights
-
Supporting MLE with Engineering risk mitigation plans, change orders, and problem resolution

Collaborating on train configuration and supporting quality for FAI and Industrialization processes

Participating in concurrent engineering workshops as needed

Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering school

Experience or understanding of project management

Knowledge of train mechanical architecture, interface management, and mechanical integration

Familiarity with system engineering, materials, and quality, cost, and delay project management

A certification in DOORS TM, PLEiADE, or CATIA
-
Significant experience in railway products (desirable)

Suppliers management experience (desirable)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Customer satisfaction-oriented mindset

Organized and resilient with a hands-on approach
