Could you be the full-time Product Introduction Director in São Paulo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, driven, and innovative teammates.

You’ll play a pivotal role in managing the overall Product Introduction (PI) activities in the LAM region, including validation support, commissioning, and warranty. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, quality, and industrial functions), ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of optimizing PI costs and ensuring customer satisfaction, but also contribute to the strategic development of PI activities in your business perimeter.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing all PI activities and resources, including commissioning, validation support, and warranty, for all projects in the region.

  • Leading tenders and bids related to the PI scope for all allocated projects.

  • Ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) budget commitments for PI activities during both tender and execution phases.

  • Driving PI cost optimization and recovery of non-core costs through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensuring supplier warranty duration and recovery of charge-backs.

  • Managing critical interfaces with customers and supporting project teams to meet PI commitments.

  • Ensuring proper implementation of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and railway safety standards.

  • Recruiting and developing the necessary competencies to support all relevant PI activities.

  • Providing PI Return of Experience (RoE) to other operational functions to drive continuous improvement.

  • Deploying and adhering to PI standard processes, including internal and external audits.

  • Collaborating with Services organizations to optimize PI execution, where applicable.

  • Promoting Alstom’s Code of Ethics and maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.

  • Ensuring consistency in PI execution across tenders, projects, and product lines.

  • Driving PI Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring proper reporting and analysis.
