ICC Application Intern

Overview

The ICC Application (Integrated Control Center Application) area at Alstom is responsible for the development and implementation of software solutions that integrate and manage railway control operations. This team focuses on integrating and configuring supervision and control applications that enable real-time monitoring of railway operations, facilitating coordination between different systems and data-driven decision-making. Interns in this area will have the opportunity to collaborate in requirements analysis, the development of technical solutions, and the execution of tests to ensure that applications meet quality and safety standards. Additionally, they will work with data visualization tools and traffic management systems, contributing to operational efficiency and the safety of railway operations.

Specific responsibilities of the role

• Configuration and integration of railway signaling software.
• Learning and application of the Ebiscreen 2000 solution.
• Management of requirements and compliance according to customer/project demands.
• AGILE methodology: Learning and application of the methodology.
• Production of technical documentation.
• Direct interface with Alstom's Pittsburgh site.

Technical Skill

• Understand the basics of programing logics
• Python, C++, VB
• Windows Serever, Linux, Unix (desirable)
• MS Office package (Excel, Word etc..)
• SQL Server
