Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside inclusive and agile teammates.
You'll lead impactful initiatives to ensure compliance with safety regulations, mitigate operational risks, and foster a strong safety culture in our São Paulo unit. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as operations, engineering, and corporate HSE), train and guide employees on safety and environmental practices, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Executing HSE activities in compliance with applicable legislation. ,

  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks. ,

  • Conducting periodic inspections and coordinating corrective and preventive actions. ,

  • Monitoring operational activities to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. ,

  • Training, guiding, and raising awareness among employees on safety, health, and environmental topics. ,

  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the HSE management system. ,

  • Managing incident investigations, reporting, and performance indicators. ,

  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and corporate HSE policies. ,

  • Supporting the deployment of global Alstom standards and initiatives locally. ,

  • Driving collaboration across teams to enhance HSE performance and sustainability practices."

  • Degree in Engineering with a postgraduate specialization in Safety Engineering. ,

  • Experience or understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management in industrial settings. ,

  • Knowledge of local legal requirements and regulatory standards, including Normas Regulamentadoras (NRs). ,

  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. ,

  • Advanced English communication skills (mandatory). ,

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. ,

  • Risk assessment and mitigation expertise. ,

  • Analytical mindset for monitoring performance indicators and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. ,

  • Training and coaching abilities to raise awareness and build a culture of safety. ,

  • Adaptability to work in fast-paced, diverse, and dynamic environments.
