Could you be the full-time Signalling & Infrastructure Engineering Quality Manager in São Paulo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering quality expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll ensure the quality and reliability of engineering deliverables, contributing to the success of our projects and driving continuous improvement. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (such as Project Engineering Managers, Quality Managers, and Bid Technical Managers), perform audits and inspections, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of the deployment of Design Reviews and DFMEA activities, but also lead improvements related to Return of Experience (REX).
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring applicable processes and standards are known and applied by engineering teams.

Challenging engineering strategies by reviewing Engineering Management Plans.

Ensuring the deployment of Critical Item Assessment (CIA) or Critical Technical Topic (CTT) activities during tenders, projects, and programs.

Managing engineering quality issues and ensuring timely resolution.

Leading local REX committees to improve engineering standards and processes.

Contributing to building Lean & Right First-Time Engineering Processes.

Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.

5 to 10 years of experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.

Knowledge of the railway industry (norms, certifications, etc.) is a plus.

Proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Ability to perform audits, inspections, and risk analyses (e.g., DFMEA).

Experience with problem-solving methods and tools (e.g., QRQC, PDCA, 8D methodology, root cause analysis tools).

Familiarity with Alstom quality and engineering standards, as well as CENELEC norms.

Strong team-working skills in a complex organizational environment.

Technical expertise in railway products.
