Overview

 

The Quality Engineering area at Alstom plays a crucial role in ensuring the excellence and reliability of the products and services offered by the company. Focused on implementing rigorous quality control practices, this team is responsible for monitoring all production processes, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, as well as promoting continuous improvement. Quality Engineering collaborates integratively with various areas, including product development, operations, and supply chain, aiming not only to meet but to exceed customer expectations.

 

Specific responsibilities of the role: 

 

  • Update databases (daily routine) 
  • Elaborate and update data to KPI’s
  • Elaborate MS Power Point presentations
  • Perform Actions follow up (Quality Animation)
  • Search and compile evidences to achieve Milestones
  • Collaborate providing ideas for continuous improvement
  • Support of Engineering Process auditing/assessment
  • Check and alert the inconsistencies of Design Review, Gate Review, Process Review Check list and its reports.
  • Support the Quality Animation of Design Reviews in advance
  • Support other technical and administrative tasks.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Bachelor degree ongoing in Engineering (Manufacturing/Production/Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent to be concluded up to Dec 26.
  • Language skills – English (advanced-fluent) is mandatory) 
  • MS Excel (advanced) with Power Query and Power BI. MS Power Point and MS Word. Good at graphics elaboration and presentations.

 

It will be an asset

  • Previous Experience as intern or worker
  • Technical major (Mechanical and/or Electrical or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools, as Pareto, Ishikawa, 8D/QRQC, 5 Why’s, 5W2H, …) and Auditing (ISO 9001,…);
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, OKR, …)
  • Spanish
