Could you be the Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer in São Paulo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical leadership and organizational expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our signalling solutions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Test & Commissioning, Safety Assurance, and Project Engineering), define and lead verification and validation strategies, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining and managing the V&V strategy for signalling projects, but also collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver validated solutions that meet customer needs.

We’ll look to you for:

• Defining the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan to ensure customer and design requirements are met

• Optimizing the allocation of tests between in-house and on-site activities

• Ensuring adherence to internal processes, norms, methods, and tools

• Managing the full verification and validation of all configured functions, parameters, and data

• Representing Alstom in front of customers, partners, and auditors

• Leading and managing the Project Verification & Validation team functionally

• Collaborating with Test & Commissioning teams for Site Acceptance Tests

• Defining and following up on testbench and analysis tool needs

• Degree in Engineering

• Experience or understanding of test and integration activities

• Knowledge of system engineering or Safety Assurance

• Familiarity with highly complex and normative environments such as railway signalling, aerospace, defense, or nuclear

• A strong sense of problem-solving and urgency

• Excellent writing skills with clarity, rigor, and concision

• Fluency in English and intermediate proficiency in Spanish
