Could you be the Bid Costing Specialist for Rolling Stock in São Paulo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your refined cost management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and strategic-thinking teammates.
You'll spearhead the financial stewardship of our projects, ensuring competitive pricing and cost efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance), optimize financial costs for tenders, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing quick costing during pre-tendering phases, defining cost structures for bids, and leading cost estimation activities, but also collaborating with finance to enhance overall bid competitiveness.
We’ll look to you for:

Preparing quick costing based on product cost databases and project execution experiences

Supporting the Bid Manager in the Instruction for Quotation preparation in line with pricing strategies

Defining bid cost structures and target costs in coordination with Bid sub-system managers
-
Leading cost improvement actions and challenging contributors to meet tender targets

Collaborating with Finance Tender Manager to optimize financial costs (bonds, financing, hedging, insurance, taxes, etc.)

Consolidating tender costs as per financial rules in the designated consolidation tools

Leading cost estimation for changes during negotiation phases and updating cost commitments

Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical preferred)

Over 5 years of experience in cost management, preferably in the manufacturing industry

Knowledge of product costs, operational flows, and project cost management

Familiarity with terms and conditions management in rolling stock tenders/projects

A strong grasp of Excel and proficiency in the Windows package
-
Ability to analyze and challenge cost commitments from contributors
-
Understanding of financial rules and contractual aspects

Experience in value analysis, product cost, and cost models

Fluency in English, with Spanish being a plus
