Job  purpose
Responsible for monitoring and providing materials planning visibility to project stakeholders; to guarantee material delivery at right time, quantity and place, based on Alstom’s project needs.
Executes supply chain and logistics activities related to direct and indirect procurement process.

Mission
Goals

Successfully maintains Materials Control Schedule and provides weekly visibility to project stakeholders

Manages Supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at right Express delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to governance of the Supplier's delivery performances (OTD).

Drives action plan for performance improvement & contributes to risk management.

Successfully executes supply chain related activities to support procurement process on direct and indirect materials
      
      Collaborates with the Procurement team to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP


Performance measuring
-    Materials On-Time Delivery (OTD)
-    Cost savings in preparation and deliveries on the chain (direct & indirect)
-    Decrease in delivery problems (project schedule execution point of view)
Duties & Main Responsibilities

-    Internal suppliers: Manage Purchase Requisition until Material Planning documents creation*
-    External suppliers: Follow up with Procurement the Purchase Requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documents *
-    Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints) *
-    Provide planning data inputs and collaborate with Project’s Planning Mgr on a proactive approach, to ensure project schedule is up-to-date.
-    Advise on potential risks related to materials and provide recovery strategies when applicable.
-    Create the Material Planning documents  & respective Source List and Quota Management *
-    Communicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmation

-    Analyze Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects
-    
-    Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions
-    Organize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances
-    Maintain delivery dates in ERP
-    Track missing parts until stock availability
-    Resolve Goods Receipts issues with the applied means of communication (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, quantity mismatch, Invoices, etc.)
-    Analyze and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External)
-    Collaborate with Material Planning Management/SDPM to validate worst Suppliers and define appropriate action plan 
-    Contribute (when involved) to Supplier Capacity Assessment

*Applicable in line with GSI deployment roadmap

Profile
Education
Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
Spanish (mother tongue or bilingual)
English (negotiation level). Fluent in English
French will be a plus

Desirable Education
APICS CPIM or CSCP or CLTD Certification will be a Plus


Competence, Skills and Techniques, Qualification

Minimum 1 year  of experience with ERPs, Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement, English
Analytical and capable identifying root causes
Problem solving skills
Advanced in Excel
