We are looking for a Workpackage Controller (f/m/d) for our site in Salzgitter.

Your Tasks:

  • Generation of different reports for the monthly Work Package Reviews following the standars of the Alstom Guidelines.
  • Planning of the regular meetings with all the departments (Purchasing, Production, i.a) involved in the generation of the information to be included in the Work Packages.
  • Ensure that actuals and cost at completion of a work package (WP) are accurate.
  • Ensure that QCD Commitments of a WP are properly documented and monitored on a monthly basis.
  • Collaboration in different activities related to the projects representing the financial area and keeping the necesary independence. 
  • Pro-active activities to mitigate overcosts by making proposals to the different areas (Purchasing, Production...) to generate savings.


Your Profile:

  • Apprenticeship with professional experience ideally finances and in production-related areas.
  • Good technical as well as process understanding combined with a constant focus on possible optimizations
  • High affinity for working with numbers and/or processing and evaluating numbers
  • Fluency in German, additional language skills will be positively evaluated.
  • Sure handling of MS Office, especially Excel as well as SAP
  • Analytical thinking, high team and communication skills
  • Independent and solution-oriented way of working.
  • Team player and positive mindset.
