We are currently looking for a Retrofit Project Manager – Rail Vehicles (m/f/d) for our site in Salzgitter.
Your Future Role
As a Retrofit Project Manager, you will play a key role in implementing technical changes to our vehicles. You will lead a cross-functional team and ensure that all retrofit activities are executed on time and in line with project requirements. You will work closely with production, quality assurance, and suppliers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cross-functional team to ensure timely execution of all changes
- Collaborate with Production and Project / Operations Management to ensure retrofit planning is followed or adjusted as needed
- Coordinate with PrQSM and Supplier Quality to implement changes through internal units or external suppliers
- Report on the execution status of changes within the Change Control Board (CCB-I)
Your Profile
You are a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills and technical understanding. You also bring:
- Proven experience in project coordination or similar roles
- Solid knowledge of quality management principles and industrial processes
- Familiarity with industrialization methods and change management
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
