Within Alstom's Purchasing department, in the purchasing family of Metallic parts belonging to the Metallic sector (€ 1 billion in Purchasing turnover, 1000 active suppliers throughout the world) we are looking for a Purchaser intern.


As part of your internship assignment, you will work on the following mission: support the Commodity Purchasing Manager on Rolling Stock and Services projects (Understand the strategic issues, decline the purchasing strategy and participate in contractual and commercial negotiations with the main suppliers).


During this internship, you will be able to develop the following skills:

  • Commercial negotiation and contractualization
  • Purchasing strategy, construction and management of the supplier panel



  • Engineering studies and / or a Master's degree specializing in Purchasing with a first internship in Industry will be strong assets.
  • Behavioral skills: dynamic, rigorous, good capacity for synthesis, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Language: good level of English and French 



Internship of 6 months starting February 2022
