By joining the rolling stock engineering team in Saint-Ouen you will have the opportunity to take part in tram, high-speed trains, regional trains, metro or innovative projects including hydrogen applications for our customers around the world.

In order to support the growth of the Saint-Ouen Rolling Stock Validation activities, Alstom is looking for a Trainlab Engineer.

You will collaborate with Alstom's various sites, mostly in France and Europe.

Within the validation team, you will participate to validate compliance of train functionalities and performances to customer requirements, quality and safety policies. You will learn every day.

Mission:
• You create the models and the virtual environment representative of the train
• You write the test procedures and report them
• You perform the tests independently and guarantee the accuracy of the test results
• You perform virtual train tests and analyze the results, and provide reports.
• You contribute to enriching the technical reference of the validation professions by providing structured REX to feed the costing activities.

Your profil:

• You hold a Master's degree: Engineering , Physics, or other
• You are rigorous and organized
• You have a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship
• You have a working knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools, ...)
• You have hands-on experience in software integration and validation phases
• You are fluent in english
• You have 2-3 years previous experience, ideally in the rail industry or in a validation test team
