Take on a new challenge and apply your reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll ensure our products are efficient, reliable, and safe, enabling complex and innovative transportation systems to operate seamlessly every day. You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing the RAMS processes for rolling stock projects, but also act as the primary point of contact for all RAMS-related topics with internal and external stakeholders.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining and deploying the RAMS process to deliver rolling stock projects.

  • Acting as the key contact for all RAMS topics with stakeholders.

  • Managing RAMS work packages and activities throughout all project phases.

  • Supporting the design of technical solutions that meet expected RAMS performance and comply with regulations.

  • Advising other functions to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Using predictive, data-driven tools for RAMS analyses.

  • Proposing innovative tools, methods, and products to continuously monitor and improve RAMS performance.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in electronic, electrical, or electromechanical engineering (or equivalent).

  • Experience in the railway, automotive, or avionics industries (minimum 5 years preferred).

  • Understanding or expertise in RAMS processes (5 years preferred, but Alstom offers training for those with strong product knowledge).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with third parties (e.g., customers).

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

  • Motivation to work in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.

  • Creativity in problem-solving and a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Work with cutting-edge standards for rail safety and performance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative and impactful projects
