Could you be the full-time Track Construction & Method Expert in St Ouen, France we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive track construction knowledge in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, supportive, and solution-driven teammates.
You'll act as an authoritative figure for track construction methods within and outside Alstom. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Track Solution team, Track Engineering, Bid Managers, Project & Construction Managers), manage track construction methods portfolio, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of promoting in-house solutions and associated construction methods, but also lead the track competitiveness continuous improvement actions for construction.
We’ll look to you for:
- Improving and standardizing track construction methods
- Developing and deploying competitive innovations for construction/method
- Updating and utilizing the Reference Library
- Supporting R&D programs for construction/method
- Animating the track construction community
- Providing expert support to regional and platform teams on tenders and projects
- Enhancing operational performance for construction through training and mentoring
All about you

- Degree in Engineering, preferably with a civil orientation
- Experience or understanding of all stages of Railway projects
- Knowledge of Permanent Way with 10 to 15 years of project execution experience
- Familiarity with track design, construction, and project management
- Knowledge in track construction sequences and associated production ratios
- A strong track record in structured problem-solving
- Experience in international environments and with concrete track
- Understanding of track integration into railway systems
- Communication skills for international collaboration
