Total Rewards Manager (M/F)

 

Alstom is seeking for a passionate Total Reward Manager to join our HR regional team for a fix term mission of 6 months due to a maternity leave, willing to make an impact driving Total Rewards programs in a very diverse, dynamic and exciting environment.

 

The role will report to the Regional Total Rewards Director for Africa, Middle East and Central Asian countries.

 

As Total Reward Manager, you will be instrumental to implement a compensation & benefits strategy adapted to the business challenges of each country under your scope, in alignment with the regional roadmap and global HR strategy.

 

Through an agile and collaborative mindset combined with data analysis and fact based insights, your main duties will be as follows :

 

  • Actively participate in salary and labor market surveys to find prevailing pay practices and benefits offering
  • Conducts ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of salary budget planning process with the countries HR team and local management.
  • Advice HR teams on job evaluations and job classifications methodology  ensuring overall consistency in the deployment of our grading system
  • Provides counsel and guidance to HR staff on total reward -related questions and issues
  • Partner actively with Finance and Tender teams to provide key insights to enable right decisions and costing on people project mobilization, especially in the green fields countries
  • Prepare effective communication on the various total reward programs.
  • Participates actively to initiatives and projects to improve total reward management.
  • Administer compensation and benefits tools and databases in your scope to ensure high level of data quality and accuracy, timely recorded.

 

Job requirements

 

To achieve this mission, you rely on a sound knowledge and experience (3 to 5 years) within an international environment managing compensation & benefits operations.

 

Your are able to assess financial implications of decisions on rewards programs, to interact with several levels of stakeholders, working in a matrix organization.

 

You have demonstrated a high level of resilience in a ambitious and demanding context thanks to your capacities to organize your workload efficiently, keeping a good work-life balance.

 

Having a strong hands-on mindset with a customer focus, you are eager to learn and share with your teammates in a collaborative and true team spirit.


You will also have the opportunity to apply and further develop the following competencies to reach your goals during this mission :

 

  • Data driven, rigorous, problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Fluent in the English language, written and spoken
  • Being able to understand company finances, resourcing and the ultimate aims of the business is important
  • Professional knowledge in employment law issues, payroll and employee relations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills
  • Intercultural awareness

 

The position is located in our headquarters at Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine (93).
