Alstom is looking for a dynamic TOSM Business Process Owner (BPO) to help shape the next generation of our Train Operations & System Maintenance (TOSM) solutions. Your mission will be to ensure the technical development, to pilot implementation and ensure proper adoption of Alstom Service Train Operations solutions, particularly focusing on the planning and execution of contracts with Operations scope.
What you’ll do
Business requirements and process definition
- Capture business needs through exchanges with subject matter experts and key users in the projects and regions (interviews, workshops and on-site operational missions)
- Formalize process (service execution as well as central governance) descriptions and key business functional rules within the functional specification, ensuring consistency with end to end processes, integration of tools into a consistent Operations core model, including interfaces between tools and with the Service core model (GSI, SES, DMP tools, …)
- Coordinate validation of processes, functional requirements and key business rules with relevant business stakeholders. When applicable, lead Prototype / Proof-Of-Concept / Pre-study with IS&T specialists and/or external partners to validate the proposed solutions
- Define the appropriate roadmap for the evolution of related tools to achieve the targeted process and business coverage
- Drive required tool sourcing, developments or evolutions in close collaboration with the IS&T department (Industrialization specification, contribution to editors selection, detailed design, and validation)
- Ensure validation of changes (new solutions/tools/features) through user acceptance testing and pilot implementation
On-site deployments, Tools adoption & Users community animation
- Define the deployment process & change management program to support the rollout of new methodologies or tools;
- Identify and periodically review adoption KPIs to track usage of the tool and its key functionalities
- Define and update training documents and materials based on user feedback (return of experience) and new tool evolutions
- Animate and support worldwide network of regional and local key users and experts to explain updates and changes, share pain points, best practices and evolutions needs
- Participate in internal and external promotion and communication
What You Bring:
- Ability to define processes, manage change, and drive adoption
- Understanding of Railway Operations (especially Scheduling/Rostering)
- International experience in a digital or tech‑driven environment
- Strong communication, agility, and leadership mindset
- English fluency
