PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • You are in charge to define the Strategy for Global SC & Planning function to fulfill Alstom Projects & Customers' requirements while minimizing Costs & Cash usage.
  • You are in charge to define & manage the group governance for Global Supply Chain & Planning

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

 

Strategy (For the Product Line)

  • Define Global Supply Chain & Planning strategy vs overall Alstom strategy
  • Accountable for the function, Delivery Plan and synchronize with other functions, with Regional management & others Product lines

Function Transformation (for the Group)

  • Accountable to drive, lead needs & synchronize requirements for Transversal (Group) Processes & Tools,
  • Accountable to drive, lead & Synchronize Transversal (Group) Process /Tool Definition, improvement & validation

Human Resources (for the Group)

  • Accountable to set up people development roadmap including skills, competencies, training & qualification path.
  • Responsible to animate the function skill development road map
  • Accountable to lead for the function, World Class Manufacturing network
  • Responsible to set up targeted operating Model for the Group function & its deployment for the product line

Finance (For the Product Line)

  • Drive Global Function cost, lead actions to continuously improve it
  • Responsible to prepare & follow budget for his perimeter including function cost
  • Define opportunities leveraging synergies & improvement initiatives

Governance & Function Design

  • For Group:
    • Accountable to set up performance, KPIs targets for Level 1&2
    • Accountable to lead for the function Global & Product line compliance on process review, audits
  • For Product Line:
    • Accountable to lead global KPIs performance review with Region for the product line
    • Accountable to validate the network design & function cost for main bids

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Graduated from University Degree
  • English (negotiation level). Fluent in English
  • Local Language

Desirable:

  • Master’s in supply chain management
  • Supply Chain certification
  • French

Experience

Mandatory:

  • Experience of 10 to 15 years in industrial environment
  • Experience of 10 years in Supply Chain
  • ERP Management experience.
  • International environment

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledgeable of Profit & Loss and cost control of assets
  • Valuable experience in companies of same sector/activity or related
