Could you be the full-time Supplier Delivery Performance Manager (f/m/d) we’re looking for in Hennigsdorf or another location in Germany
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Global SDPM Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
- Conduct Full Supply Chain Audits (FSCA) at defined intervals and develop improvement action plans with suppliers when gaps are identified.
- Monitor supplier progress on action plans, escalating issues when commitments are at risk.
- Perform quarterly Capacity Assessments to ensure suppliers can meet Alstom’s global demand, and lead mitigation planning when risks are identified.
- Collaborate with the SD Manager and Global Demand Management to prioritize short-term allocations and align long-term capacity strategies.
- Provide supply chain risk assessments and recommendations prior to business awards across all projects.
- Influence procurement commodity strategies by advising on supplier capabilities and risks.
- Investigate root causes of delivery issues for underperforming suppliers and lead recovery plans in collaboration with the Material Planning Manager.
- Support crisis management efforts for designated “Crisis Suppliers,” focusing on capacity de-bottlenecking and capability enhancement.
- Lead Resident Programs when required to stabilize supplier performance.
- Mentor and train new Supplier Delivery Performance Managers (SDPMs) to qualify as FSCA and Capacity Assessment auditors.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of APSYS standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide feedback on assessment tools and procedures, and support testing of new tools and change requests.
- Uphold Alstom’s EHS policies and Ethics & Compliance standards.
- Travel frequently (minimum 60% of the time), both domestically and internationally.

- A degree in Technical or Supply Chain Engineering (Master’s level or equivalent preferred)
- Experience in supply chain, quality, or industrial process auditing, ideally with 5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Familiarity with Lean Management principles and hands-on experience with supplier audits
- FSCA qualification or equivalent experience in supplier performance management
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills in a multicultural, matrix environment
- Proficiency in industrial scheduling, materials requirements planning, and delivery performance tracking
- A continuous improvement mindset with a customer-oriented and agile approach
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
