JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for an ambitious, organized, and motivated Product Manager. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, but also a business interest, and a wide network of peers. As a natural leader, you will have a strong talent for coming up with innovative solutions to given problems. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to deliver great products in a predictable and controlled manner while having some fun on the way.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work closely with program managers, architects, and developers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Coordinate activities with other product managers, to optimize development efforts, lead time and costs.
  • Work closely with Regions and Solutions to foresee future needs in all your products.
  • Involved in all bids concerning your products, giving reasonable estimates for needed updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end users; manage structured communication about roadmap, deliveries, changes, gather and summarize feedback and feed it back as requirements in the product backlog.
  • Create business cases for continued development of your products.
  • Anticipate, analyze, evaluate, and overcome product risks.
  • Promote and market the use of your products within Alstom. Scout early adopters, and structure extensive deployment.
  • Develop ideas for new products, and network to find new opportunities for existing products.
  • Work with other product managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple products within the larger team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Engineering, or another technical related field.
  • Extensive experience in working with formal verification.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a product manager or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and an ability to execute. You are result oriented and creative.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
  • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and you like to work independently in an international environment.

 

LOCATION:

Though the position is opened in France, applications from Europe are welcome. Applicants are expected to be available to travel for short missions to HQ and other sites.
