OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION:
We are looking for an intern for our Development To Cost department.
The main mission of Development To Cost within Alstom is to increase the financial and technical performance of our solutions and products. This Development To Cost approach is applied on a wide range of railway systems (Doors, Seats, Vehicles, Chassis, etc.), and through several levers (Requirements, Specifications, Design, Process, Integration, Procurement, Maintenance...).
We are looking for an intern for our Development To Cost department.
Within the mechanical division teams, your objectives will be to maintain, promote and develop methodologies, costing tools, as well as technical-economic databases on different perimeters.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION:
You will be in charge of the following missions:
- Analyze the design of technical solutions in the mechanical field and identify cost drivers.
- Analyze the industrial manufacturing process to develop or improve our cost models.
- Update and/or develop costing tools (Excel, VBA, QLIK, Power BI,...) with clear guidelines and training documentation for the end users.
- Assist the Design to Cost community, engineering and purchasing in the mechanical field: costing, analysis, audits, visits....
- Data Science & Big data: Benchmark and implementation of KPI on technical and economic data (Mechanical assemblies, ...).
- Suppliers and/or sites visits
PROFILE:
- Educational level: Engineering (M1/M2) with a technical / mechanical background
- Technical skills: Transport, Aeronautics, Mechanics, processes, manufacturing.
- Computer skills: Excel, VBA, PowerBI (or equivalent for data analysis).
- Behavioral skills: Autonomy, interpersonal skills, communication, agility, curiosity.
Duration : 6 month february/March 2025
Localisation : Saint Ouen sur Seine
