Role and Responsibilities:

•    Defines maintenance requirements (functional specifications) for depot (level 1 to 3), an auxiliary workshops (level 4 & 5 maintenance).
•    Coordinates and finalize maintenance strategy for the tender
•    Defines the list of depot equipment and tools to cover the maintenance scope targeted
•    Calculates the depot size required (number of tracks by activity type, main workstations definition, number and superficies of auxiliary workshops)
•    Coordinate Construction Engineering teams for finalizing tenders, secure deliverables for reference
•    Evaluates the capacity of the depot in relation to the fleet and to the operational service requirement
•    Ensures depot and rolling stock (RS) are compatible with one an other, and with the intended maintenance regime
•    Defines and manage technical interfaces (RS & Depot)
•    Assesses conditions of existing depot facilities for retrofit of existing assets (infrastructure, buildings, equipment, tools, ...), identifying gaps vs requirements
•    Consolidate and validate costings of required footprint (infra, buildings, equipment, tools, ...)
•    Support Alstom customers for depot related issues
•    Support footprint projects mobilization and ramp-up (construction WP)
•    Overview / Follow footprint projects through regular Steering Committees and standard reporting, provide / coordinate support when needed

Educational requirements:

• Engineering degree, preferably civil, industrial, mechanical or electrical field
• Financial and/or bid management training or qualification a plus.

Knowmedge and Experience:

•    Minimum 3 years of experience in Railway Operations business
•    Minimum overall 7 years experience
•    Design or Operations or Maintenance of railways sites (buildings, infra & workshops equipment)
•    Knowledge of main depot specifications
•    RS Maintenance experience and/or knowledge of RS will be a plus.
•    English (fluent), French (social), other tongue a plus
•    Office suite proficiency
•    Autonomous, agile, organized, easy communication skills and networking, innovative and proposing.
