We are opening a permanent contract within HVAC Procurement Team

The Senior Buyer reports to the Commodity Manager, ensures the deployment of commodity strategy, tenders and projects execution in line with QCDTE's objectives and Project milestones

He/ She supports global supplier Panel relationship (Supplier workload, negotiation, Specific agreement)

Commodity perimeter:

HVAC products for all Rolling Stock Platforms

The main missions are :

Involvement in projects and tenders :

· Build Procurement Tender commitment

· Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool

· Lead project negotiation for the commodity

· Coordinate sourcing activities with local sourcing teams and project with all Metiers: Contracts application, strategy, saving actions, suppliers performance reviews...

· Monitor sourcing project QCDTE & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)

· Ensure work package sheet commitment respect

· Prepare Business Award

Supplier relationship management :

·  Manage global and specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)

·  Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues before any escalation to line manager

·  Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines

·  Be of the SupplierLeader and referent, organization of Quarter Business Review and ensure Supplier's global Compliancy  

Commodity support :

· Active participation to commodity strategy, panel elaboration on her/his scope and deployment within Internal /external stakeholder

· Lead commodity commitments according to the defined strategy on her/his scope

· Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.

· Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving

· Apply the Alstom Transport Sourcing process, and provide return on experience

· Able to monitor Commodity Transversal topic

Profile:

Educational requirements

- Business school or Engineering degree with MASTER in purchasing

Technical Knowledge / Experience:

- Fluent English & International background; high level English for negotiation

- Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing

Behavioural and Technical Skills / Competencies:

- Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, communication, ability to convince)

- Negotiations skills on price and contractual clauses

- Use of excel, sourcing tools and in accordance with Alstom process

- Results oriented within a given timeline

Job Location / Mobility :

On Site in Alstom Saint-Ouen Headquarter / High travel frequency.
