Your future role
You will join a challenging and highly skilled team that delivers expertise in competitive tendering for the Alstom global organisation. As part of the Central team, you will act as a center of excellence and a coach for the regions, helping them build strong, compliant, and highly competitive bids.
You will collaborate and influence partners across multiple functions (Engineering, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Performance, Finance, Procurement, Operations). Day‑to‑day, you will support regional tender teams in the preparation of their submissions, ensuring alignment with Product Line strategy, competitive positioning, and governance.
In this role, you will:
- Support regions in preparing competitive Services offers and improving their competitiveness vs. market benchmarks.
- Guide regional teams in preparing and securing the Bid Milestones.
- Ensure consistency of costing, pricing, and technical inputs across tenders.
- Challenge assumptions and strengthen bid content to reduce risks and maximize win probability.
- Lead or co‑lead strategic or complex bids directly from the Bid Factory.
- Support the Tender Leader in aligning with the Services Product Line and consolidating inputs for decision making.
- Contribute to win–loss assessments and competitiveness improvement actions.
- Drive effective communication and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
In this role, you directly contribute to Alstom’s tender competitiveness and to the growth of the Services business worldwide.

Education
- Engineering, business, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the tendering process and competency in competitive bid development
- Understanding of Quality/Cost metrics and value drivers for Services activities
- Ability to challenge cost inputs, technical assumptions, and commercial proposals
- Good knowledge of engineering, maintenance, procurement, and operations principles
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
- Capacity to coach, support, and influence teams across regions
Experience
- At least 3 Services bids managed within Alstom, ideally with winning outcomes
- Previous experience in Bid Management, Project Management, or related roles in Services or industrial environments
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments
- Knowledge of Alstom tender governance and costing methodologies is a strong advantage
