Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in tendering, competitiveness, and data-driven solutions within Alstom’s Railway Data Sciences & AI organization. Alstom’s Data Science and AI programs aim to develop, test, validate, and industrialize data-driven solutions for the mobility sector—leveraging advanced analytics, simulations, and domain expertise to enhance performance and customer experience.

 

As Railway AI Tender & Competitiveness Leader, you will drive tendering strategy and execution for AI solutions, acting as a key interface between bid teams, regions, and technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality, competitive proposals aligned with customer needs and market trends. You will report to the Head of Railway Data Sciences & AI Solutions.

 

We’ll look for you to:

 

As part of the Railway Data AI team, you will lead tendering and competitiveness activities for AI solutions:

 

• Lead preparation of competitive bids for Railway Data Science & AI solutions
• Ensure technical offers meet customer requirements, proposing optimized alternatives where needed
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial inputs
• Lead technical, financial, and risk reviews for each bid
• Ensure timely and high-quality tender submissions
• Define and maintain the reference library (reflib) aligned with product and pricing strategy
• Analyze market trends and tender outcomes to improve competitiveness and bidding strategy

 

All about you 

 

We value mindset, collaboration, and adaptability as much as technical expertise:


• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in bid management, tendering, or competitiveness activities
• Exposure to data-driven or multi-solution technical projects
• Knowledge of Machine Learning or Data Science (preferred)
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Fluent in English and French
