MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Tender Schedules

  • Review and verification of and contribution to tender and project schedules using the Duration Sizing Guide (part of A.SST)
  • Follow up and envisage market trends regarding the project development duration and propose improvement actions for optimization

 

Development and implementation of a Product Planning Process

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a Product Planning Process including communication strategy and training strategy
  • The Product Planning Process is to be based on the existing Reference Library & Competitiveness management process as well as the Alstom Standard Scheduling Toolbox (A.SST)

 

Application of the Product Planning Process

  • Guide and support Platform organizations, Regions and Sites in the application of the Product Planning Process
  • Manage Return of Experience (REX) capture for future improvements of the Planning processes
  • Support the 3 primary objectives of the RefLib: Manage & improve the competitiveness of our products portfolio, build quick and robust tenders based on our standards, capitalize re-usable elements of our know-how

 

General:

  • Contribute to the Return of Experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices between the Regions, Sites, and central teams
  • Build up and maintain a close relationship with the key stakeholders:
  • Transformation initiatives (PM2020, E4A, Ody.C implementation), métiers / functions (Development, Project, Procurement, Industrialisation), TPCP for Planning tools, RSC Development & Project Planning team leads, IS&T and M&T for Tools, APSYS, RSC Management Office peer groups.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or comparable experience
  • 5 years’ experience in Planning
  • Knowledge of Scheduling
  • Practical experience of generating and maintaining schedules and resource plans in a modern Planning software environment
  • Experience in defining and supporting process improvements regarding product development strategies
  • Working experience either in Engineering (e.g., Project Engineering role, Project Management or Operations)
  • Railway industrial experience is of advantage
  • Language: English fluent. Spanish, German, or French are beneficial for the job
