Alstom has launched in December 2020 its PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) program named PLM4A. It is an enterprise initiative that enables to create, update, and share the definition of a product, its associated industrial systems, support and services throughout its lifecycle (Design, Manufacturing, Maintenance and Removal), reduce development lead times, ensure innovation, support multi-functional collaboration between various métiers, multiple sites, internal and external, all over the world.
PLM is implemented through the 3DExperience, a software platform dedicated to Product Lifecycle Management, providing standard processes associated with industry’s best practices.
With the aim on optimizing design activity within the entire Alstom Engineering, we are looking for a PLM Engineer in the Digital acceleration department for RSC PLM Solution Team (Rolling Stock & Component). You will be in charge of future PLM solution for Engineering business.
In this role, you will:
- Specify solution functional behavior for Bill of Material management, Digital Mock-Up management, its associated transverse processes like Modification & Configuration management, document management, requirements management...
- Test solution deliveries and manage user acceptance campaign
- Write methodologies and workflow associated to it
- bring your tools expertise to deploy team and key users
- Participate to the metier convergence
- Animate site Key Users network
- Catch business new needs
You will interact with multiple stakeholders: Engineering / indus / procurement métiers teams that are present into PLM4A, deploy team that you need to support and IT that develop solution based on your requirement.
Your profile
Competences
- Good knowledge of Engineering, PLM, and integration of engineering processes
- Good knowledge in one engineering discipline like electrical, tubing, requierement, simulation...
- Capacity to translate business requirements in functional requierement
- Good communication skills to interact with people from different cultures
- Skills on catia knowledgeware will be appreciated
- Good knowledge of PLM and CAD solutions and their associated technical constraints
- Fluent spoken English mandatory
Technical Experience
- Functional experience in a PLM Program
- PLM and CAD operational experiences (ENOVIA, CATIA ...)
