Purpose of the Job

The objective of the RS&C Sub-Systems Management role is to support the Bids and Projects Sub-Systems Managers especially during the initialisation phase.

She or he will be the guardian of the Sub-Systems management rules and templates.

One of the mission is as well to deploy the PM2020 transformation programme

It requires to work collaboratively with Regions, Plateforms, TPCP, metiers representatives.

  • Be the guardian of the RSC Tenders & Projects Management rules
  • Deploys RSC Tenders & Projects referential and transformation programmes : PM2020, Ody.C
  • Support actively the Sub-Systems Managers  to implement the PM2020 methodology at bid or project phase
  • Focus on the initialisation phase, i.e. between NTP and FPR00 for the RS&C projects, same approach for tenders
  • Core team mobilisation: anticipate the resources needed based on S&OP, in coordination with Regions, Platforms, TPCP, metiers
  • Ensure that communities management and training courses are in place, available and known by the targeted populations (Training academy to be developped)
  • Ensure the convergence toward a unique RS&C Tenders & Projects management methodology for the new Alstom Bids & Projects 
  • Identify the TOP Tenders & Projects offenders or transversal topics.
  • Lead the coordination between entities for problems solving and for updating processes/instructions/templates to not repeat the issues
  • Collect Sub-Systems Managers needs and return on experience to enhance the proposed supports
  • Detail the Project Management activities at Sub-Systems level: Management procedures, Organisation, Planning, Cost, DFQ, CDRL, Risks & Savings   



  • Master's degree with a significant experience in railway business for more than 5 years in project management
  • Open minded and motivated to support the RS&C Sub-Systems Managers
  • Ability to negotiate with several entities
  • You are result oriented and you like to work in an international environment
  • Ability to lead, guide and coach project team members, both to ramp-up Tenders & Projects and to implement the transformation programmes
  • You have a demonstrated contact skill and a proactive approach (Ability to propose)
  • Ability to be comfortable and relevant in assessing impact of changes and in identifying training needs.  
  • Communication skill and ability to interact efficiently with any management levels
  • Organised, capacity to priotirize, time management, escalate issues appropriatly
