The component Quality Director is in charge to support the Component Organization and the Region Quality director for the Quality Program of all the Component activities within the country.

In this position the Director Components will be responsible for:


  • Develop Quality Culture & Right First Time Approach.
  • Ensure consistency of QCD objectives and the contractual/regulatory obligations applicable to the projects. 
  • Drives continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce the CONQ, NCR, Safety issues and Demerit


Quality embedded in operations:

  • Deploy Quality Policy within the management committee of components
  • Ensure Quality and Safety assessment in the products & services delivered to the customers, right of veto on delivery.
  • Increase Customer satisfaction through periodic meetings, Customers Surveys, product delivery controls,
  • Manage and escalate Top issues impacting safety and customer.

Quality Resources Management:

  • Lead, Manage and develop Quality teams and managers within component organization
  • Develop the Quality Teams & competences, using quality school, expertise, and APSYS assessments.
  • Deploy tools and indicators, and contribute to their improvement

QMS and Process management:

  • Evaluate by Internal Audits the quality performance in each process. 
  • Ensure the right update about the Quality (QMS) Reference documents, using REX process. 
  • Obtain certifications (ex: IRIS, ISO,) according the strategy of the company


Location / Mobility :

National / regular travels on the French Component sites and on the RS customer sites


We are looking for a bilingual quality professional with at least 10 years of experience in the Railway industry and a large experience in managing team in a large geographical area. The candidate will have a strong leadership and the ability to build a roadmap and deploy it in his network.

Knowledge of components quality is a must.
