As per the DI&S strategy where innovate, grow and deliver are the pillars, Fluence is one key programs, as new CBTC solution for Urban signalling projects. Program Director oversees Fluence development activities for all applications (France, China, Europe…). He/she supports projects deployment during Test & Commissioning, Trial Running, Revenue Service and Warranty phases.  He/she is based in Saint-Ouen, France. His/Her main missions and responsibilities are:

 

  • Manage Fluence baselining and its road map (R&D funding, development, sustaining, …)
    • Structure coordination of Core Team and Program Management par Baseline
    • Interface with Product development teams (Trackside, Carborne, Maintenance… ) 
  • Drive QCD execution of all Fluence Programs (systems or products) & Manage the CCB process in coordination with Urban Platform
    • Functional scope in accordance with project needs and considering existing solution
    • Minimize the development effort and investment and ensure effective CCB Process Management
  • Develop a close coordination with Regional Centers/project:
    • Ensure that Fluence programs/international projects delivery are fully synchronized.
    • Ensure timely support on Fluence bids and pre-tendering, and customer interface
  • Develop and execute competitiveness plans for Fluence as per Urban Platform objectives
    • Improve Design, Development and Deployment strategy with continuous improvement approach
  • Manage Baseline QCD as per commitments for Fluence Program 
    • Quality:
      • Ensure that gaps scope is well defined and associated target well known
      • Ensure that the restrictions of the baseline are limited and acceptable by project team
    • Cost:
      • Validate and challenge cost estimation of Program WP Owners
      • From each scope variation, define and monitor the associated cost variation.
    • Delivery:
      • Ensure effective planning follow-up including all V-cycle activities and all métiers 
      • Monitor regularly planning progress and/or slippage
  • Ensure regular reporting in Critical Program Review PR and Program Review Board on Progress of development and QCD consolidation
  • Applies process, methods and tools as referenced by the program plans.
