Could you be the full-time Product Director in Saint Ouen or Tarbes we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your product management expertise in a cutting-edge and sustainable field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of professionals dedicated to shaping the future of green energy solutions.

You'll lead the development strategy of the green subsystem architecture and components product range, ensuring that Alstom’s solutions are not only market-ready but also aligned with the company’s growth, profitability, and quality objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, sourcing, supply chain, industrial, quality, finance, and more), oversee program execution, and manage cross-functional collaboration to deliver on key objectives.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring product standardization and alignment with the company’s strategic vision, but also drive the execution of programs to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Coordinating the product portfolio to maximize standardization and align with future opportunities.
  • Delivering QCD performance for programs up to First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Maintaining strong links with CDS teams to share product family strategies and priorities.
  • Regularly reporting on key issues and risks to Product Family and Site Management.
  • Managing and developing a team of Product Managers and Subsystem Managers.
  • Providing operational support to product teams, including risk management and mitigation planning.
  • Ensuring the application of Alstom processes to guarantee quality execution of programs.
  • Driving continuous improvement and capturing Return of Experience (REX) to enhance product performance.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Master’s degree in a technical or equivalent field.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, ideally in a technical or industrial environment.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Knowledge of product business and industrial processes.
  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a transversal or international context.
  • Strategic vision and the ability to benchmark competition effectively.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Organizational agility and a readiness to travel internationally.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to make decisions and provide solutions.
  • Desirable: experience with Alstom’s internal processes and familiarity with the railway industry.
